Dam

Hmmmm......it's got a bit of a slope on it which might be better corrected.
This is a really simple photo but the KISS principal still works. I think this would be better if this were layered in approximate thirds. That is water,then dam wall, then sky in roughly equal proportions - a bit more sky so there is a gradation from bottom (the least of the 3 layers), middle (middle), top (the largest of the layers), but not much more to keep the elements in harmony.
It also seems a bit soft.

Thank you Ian for taking the trouble to explain. Sorry that I missed to thank you at the time! Now I remember that I started to find the KISS principal immediately after reading your comment. I have just been aware of it on returning to check.
