Morning John, colour rendition is superb and the DOF is nice with the base of the tree just going out of focus.

DOF I had no control over, unless I changed the ISO, but then I might start to get concerned about the noise!
There had been a few concerns voiced lately about Pentax compacts and, as I'd never really had a problem with them, I've made an effort to use the new I-10 for things I wouldn't normally, just to test it out.
I must say I've found it remarkably good, not as easy to use as a DSLR but with practice it turns out images that I think are fine for web at least. I'll make some prints soon to see how it fares then.

Useful to have a P&S in a pocket. Have you tried a W80? I just can`t find a positive user. Anyway I am quite impressed with the posted images you have done lately.

No I haven't tried the W80, although I do like the idea of a waterproof compact.
