Coventry Cathedral

I saw the reflected light spilling through the arches, and the chaplain rushing across the plaza just before Evensong, and framed the shot before he started up the steps to the cathedral entrance.

Lovely shot but as Alun says -- being nit-picky -- the blown sky top left doesn't do you any favours. Does cropping it along the corner of the wall put the chaplain too close to the edge of the frame? I also wonder if BW would suit this image. It remains, however, a great photo. Well spotted.

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

I would have words with the chaplain. If he had climbed the steps faster you would have been able to crop the sky top left. How inconsiderate!
