Cormorant Aesthetic

The Neotropic Cormorant is not a particularly handsome bird - especially from the rear.

So to make things more attractive, I tried to give this capture a bit of what I think of as a Japanese aesthetic. I hope it works for you.

I think you are right - the bird is not very attractive, but the composition is great.

I love the way it has hooked its rump over the rear branch
(They may not look much out of the water but you should see them UNDER the water!)
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
