I didn't need to go searching in the woods for these, they were hiding beneath the Runner Beans in the garden! The following day they had been razed to the ground by presumably slugs or maybe hedgehogs?

I agree with Jimmy. And I think that a square crop would be nice.

Thank you all for the positive comments.
Thank you Gábor for your square crop suggestion which I tried and was amazed at the improvement, I would not have thought of trying that with this image! After that I tried a circular crop but that did nothing to improve the image, in fact it gave rather a flat result; it drained the life out of the picture! I have often thought that modern camera manufacturers should give us a square sensor and format then we could crop the image as and if desired; it would obviate the need to consider which attitude to orientate the camera when shooting and remove the need for swing the camera when tripod mounted, which is an encumbrance when working close-up, amongst the flowers.
I have uploaded the square version.
