Coppia Solitaria(Lone Pair)

by GIULIO57

This is one of my first shoots using a Pentax SLR camera:MESuper(April 1986).Lens is a Pentax 135mm(SMC-K mount).Film is a Fujichrome slide 50.Focus distance & F number are at hyperfocal so to manage a wide depth of field.Camera on tripod;mirror blocked up;use of a shutter flexible cable to avoid vibrations.(F22-1/30sec).Manual exposure;I took 3 pics(bracketing)changing time of shutter only.Nowadays the tree on the right is still alive..but in my pic they will live together for ever. I told a story of "life" using a Pentax. That's All Folks.Sorry for this boring but humble words.

Wonderful picture (I felt sure it was good old chrome). Really appreciated the shooting description and explanation. It will be helpful to others I assure you.
You have told (and shown) a wonderful story. It was not the least bit boring and certainly not humble. This image, to me, is the true impetus of the photographic art, to record visually, life past and present. You have produced an outstanding historical record.

Well done,

Stephen
I gladly welcome C & C's. Being foggy minded they really help me learn.

Thank YOU very much Mr.Lewis for YOUR beautiful words. Your comment has been a poetry of Shakespeare for my eyes and ears...but first of all I've been glad for this historical record of our world. We shall die but we have looked at and we have taken pics of nice places.Giulio 57.

Terrific shot. I'm hopeless at using telephotos for landscapes so I particularly admire anyone who can.
Best wishes,

Andrew

I see your style hasn't changed over the years Giulio.
Wasn't the ME Super a nice camera - even when the lens was bigger than the camera body!

Thank you. You're right. MESuper was a beautiful dwarf against telephoto lenses. My MESuper is still working well.Giulio57
