Cone flower
by trixie
Cone flower, or Echinacea, from my garden, Echinacea is often used in herbalism to boost immunity before winter starts, good for getting rid of infections, mouth ulcers, gum disease. The herb became very popular as treatment for infections during the 19th century when successfully used to treat even life-threatening conditions .

I never realised that this is what an Echinacea looked like. Looks like it should be hanging upside down.

Hello, yes it can look like this or there is the purple variety which is more like a daisy, they both belong to the Rudbecki family. Thank you so much Trixie

Never seen one before, but I am taking Echinacea at the first sign of a cold, works wonders for me.
