Water on metal, I assume Nigel? Can you share any technical notes you may have on this beautiful take?

It is condensation on the bathroom window, good old fashion single glazing. I held the camera at an angle to the glass with the sun in the centre of the frame. This gave the going into focus then out the other side at a jaunty angle. Using the DA* 35mm macro you get the purple fringing in front of focus and the green fringing behind the point of focus adding colour to the image. I then developed the image to suit my desire in LR.

Nice "abstract"...Happy to learn that you say "condensana"...In the Italian language it is "condensa"!

Great use of colour fringing when otherwise it might be considered a pesky nuisance. It works very well indeed
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Some get to travel the world to take photographs, I get to look at the condensation on the bathroom window.
