New Shoot

This little shoot, just over an inch long, will hopefully be providing us with some raspberries in the Autumn .
This image, shot for the competition, is a focus stack of 14 images all taken using a Pentax K-1 with the Samsung equivalent of the D-FA 100 Macro.
0.3sec, F11, ISO200 & -0.1 exposure compensation.
Shot raw, then processed with LR5. The focus stack was assembled using Helicon Focus 6 before it was cropped and resized for the web in PSE14.
It was my first attempt at shooting a focus-stack macro with my recently purchased K-1. I suspect that 14 images was probably a bit excessive. I was using live view and focus peaking and decided to play safe to avoid any gaps in the DOF.
