More Toadstools

by GlynM

A small group of toadstools that appeared under the trees in my garden after some wet weather.

A two image focus stack.

Pentax K-3 with DA35 limited Macro
1/30sec, F8.0 & ISO200

Shot raw, processed in LR5. The photo stack was then processed using CombineZP and PSE10 was used to resize the final image.

Glynn, these are either....
Panther Cap [Amanita pantherina] - rare & poisonous... may be deadly......
or....
The Blusher [Amanita rubescens] - very common and poisonous when raw.... but edible when cooked...
just go with the rare one and you'll be safe...
only a live expert knows which!!
The other expert obviously got it wrong!!
In France we take it to the pharmacy... if they say yes, our nearest relatives can sue!
Never be afraid to talk about your techniques...
"Give a thousand photographers...
the same camera, lens and scene...
and you'll always get a thousand different takes!!"
