Vertigo

Normally I don't feel any fear of hight at all (quite happy in climbing mountains etc.) but this old staircase of the Jagdschloß Granitz was special - the stairs are winding up the wall until you reach a hight of almost 40 meters and you always have the "big hole" at on side and the wall at the other. It becomes even mire special, when you meet other visitors coming from the other direction (especially as all stairs allow to look through them and as the bannister is not that high.
I still had no problems to walk there and took some pics but I could clearly imagine that some people find it very frightening. With this look into the center of the tower, I wanted to mimik the verstigo effects of s classical Hitchcock movie.
This is, how it looks from outside (not one of my pics) http://www.mv-schloesser.de/upload/maps/Bilder/panorama_jagdschloss_granitz_b02....

This is an outstanding shot!
It's not the strongest species that survive, nor is it the most intelligent. It is those most adaptable to change.
