Dalek

I think it must be difficult to create a moody atmosphere when the subject is an evil semi-robotic alien however I think this succeeds.

I also think the execution of this image is very good. I like the way the image has been framed. The Dalek is looking out of a window formed by the display screen. It feels very close. The cold blue eye looks straight at you. No calming influence here. If this was on my work desktop I would be trying very hard to earn more than just my keep.

You would probably have to be a Doctor Who fan to live with this on your desktop but within that constraint I think it works. There are good places to site some icons. I’m not sure I want a hint of this creeping around the edges of my open windows but there is detail top and bottom to achieve this.
