Good evening, Jim.
Could you fill us in with a few details:
Is this a crop or full frame?
Roughly how far away from this little bird were you?
What was the context of this image - garden, open country...?
From a hide or "stalked"?
Coker.

Image is cropped
Approx 6-8 feet away
Back garden though it is paved over now
I hid behind the washing on the line
Exif data says creative programme but it was taken on Shutter priority
Cheers
Jim

Nice shot, I hope this little sole survives the winter. When the snow first came our wild birds almost stopped feeding but now they are ravenous. (Spell check please)
Keep on hiding in the washing never know what may turn up!
