Caster Harbour

Inspired by that prominent crack in the rock in the foreground. Somehw looks better with the smallest hint of colour than fully mono (I think?)

Roger has said it all, works so well in portrait, well taken. Benefits from the larger view IMO
Could do with just a tiny tilt to the right to correct the horizon.

Everything works compositionally, as Roger says. It's what I always look for but seldom find: compelling interest in foreground, middle ground and sky. (Jim's right: it is slightly wonky!)
Best wishes,
Andrew

I don't think the colour is relevant.
But the composition most certainly is.
"That" crack leads the eye to the boat, then it's an easy, encouraged jump to the r. harbour wall, down through its reflection,to the jumble of stones, to the slab of rock, with its interesting textures & back to the principle subject: "that" crack.
There to be seen by all.
But only you've recorded it .
For us to see & enjoy.
For which, many thanks!
Roger.
P.S., get it on your wall!
I would!
