I used to covet Laverdas in the 70s, Giulio. They're were rare and wonderful then and more so now. The English motorcycle industry went the same way as the Italian... lots of lovely old marques disappeared.

Triumph/BSA also made triples. These Laverdas etc. were all very new to me. My bikes where mid 50's early 60's. Tigers and Thunderbirds.
Triumph are going strong these days and export really well.
My personal bike these days is a 1988 Honda CD 250 U. I'd like something bigger but at my age with slowed down reactions I'd most likely kill myself. I only use it for pottering on warm sunny days. It has a top box for my cameras.
What are other PU members riding these days??????????????????

Yesterday I met a Triumph and I was really glad of....In these latest years this brand met new success as well as Harley Davidson (in Italy)

Mrs C strongly disapproves of motorcycles having personally witnessed two fatal accidents so my two wheeled (powered) days are over, Vic. However, I have a convertible four-wheeled indulgence which I love...

Glad to hear your still ridding Vic, have kept my 1200 bandit for the last fifteen years and like you only go out when the sun shines, you had to be a bit of a he man to pull the clutch in on the Laverdas lol
