Buzzard

Delightful to get so close to a Common Buzzard, in the woods at Stover Country Park.

A most unusual shot. Well done indeed.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Thank you very much David The Buzzard was happy in that tree for a good five minutes, occasionally turning their head / changing position. I walked away with a beaming smile at how lucky I had been to spend several minutes in proximity to this hawk

Skill and luck make an admirable combination Phil! If I can get within 100m of one here I consider myself blessed!

Thank you very much for your kind words Paul I have hoped for a long time to make a pleasing photo of a Buzzard, so many time I see them perched in trees, or on telegraph poles beside fields, on my car journeys through Devon and I too have tried sneak up on them. So this was truly awesome to be so close and be so tolerated for 5 minutes by this Buzzard I wish you luck Paul in you too finding a tolerant hawk
