Bubble Series

More fun with bubbles
Hope you enjoy the colours.
My shed is a mess now, with soap all over the floor . Feels like I am roller skating in there. I think I should get back to smoke which at least I don't have to do anything to clean, just open the windows and door and the smoke goes off, unlike the bubbles, leaves such a mess behind lol
Hope you enjoy the colours.

Very good one Amin.
Just one very small "but", left edge of the pic seems to be bit darker and a bit fuzzy as well, was is DOF to shallow?, light not evenly lightening up whole area?, right edge has similar DOF like symptom, but much narrower and not so visible

HI everyone,
Thank you for all your comments. I am glad you like it
Regarding the flaws, I noticed it but its quite tricky to sort it out. Unless of course I crop it out. These thin soap films are very very tricky to photograph and I am still learning and perfecting it, and hope after a few more experiments you can see better images .
I wanted to increase DOF (as this is one of the reasons of the out of focus areas) but then I would have to lose ss, which would make it blurred. Those colours are constantly moving and a smaller ss would have blurred it. ISO was already at 800 so that was already a problem. I do have some shot at ISO 1600 even, the noise is a bit bad, but I manage to control it during post processing. So its a bit of a juggle still, but I am hoping to keep on improving. Your comments and critiques are helping me out big time so please keep them coming . I want to know the bits that need improvement and now you brought those details to my attention I will look into it again on my next trip to the shed
Thanks again

This is the most colourful one so far. It's excellent. Good job you've got a shed, this sort of photography would make a helluva mess in the bathroom.

David, when I say that my shed floor is a mess I really mean the floor is in a MESS lol. I regret not putting an old piece of carpet I had somewhere tucked in on the floor to avoid all the spillages etc. By the time I noticed it, it was too late. At one time I was using a brick for counter weight to avoice the ring holding the bubbles to oscillate for too long before it remained stationary, and the soap liquid just kept on flowing all the way through the metail piece I had it holding through the whole length, well, you can just about imagine the scene at the end . When I am in the mind frame of experimenting and trying all that, the enthusiasm and the thrill just makes me overlook all the mess. Its only at the end that when I am about to lock up and look around I then notice it all and it sinks in LOL.This is the most colourful one so far. It's excellent. Now a bathroom would be it, if this mess was in my bathroom it would definitely be ground for divorce
But boy oh boy, was it worth it. I learnt some facts with the results of this batch, particularly with things that Jack and Piotro pointed out, so next batch should be more to the point and I am hoping when I lock myself again in the shed better images should come out next
Thanks
Amin
