Think I also lean towards this one out of the two, the sky has more of an influence, the waves are easier to see and the shadows are more defined especially like the one from the "lock"

The organic swirls of sand and sky accented by the sea versus the straight lined mechanical world of the boathouse knitted beautifully into a image waiting to be hung on a gallery wall. Auspicious and judicious - One of your best. (thats saying a lot) T

Oh yes...let me climb into this picture...pull up a deck chair and drink an ice tea and watch the day go by.....lovely pleasing atmosphere...makes me want to visit the coast. Great image
