I love that area but I've never got so high up a mountain to take such a dramatic shot as this. Were you on Meall a' Bhuiridh to photograph this?

The shots were taken high up on Stob Ghabhar, and you can see the southern aspect of Stob a' Choire Odhair just to the left.
I have popped up Stob Ghabhar a few times in recent winters, it is high enough to generally collect some snow, and provide a fun day out. I often only make it to the ridges at 900m before dusk dictates heading down again.
But this day was a special day. It started so dreary, then when you pop out above the clouds you get some magic vistas of mountain tops popping out.
