One of the things I love about photography is that a simple choice of shutter speed give the photographer the apparent power to manipulate time and create the mood they choose. Whether that is freezing the briefest moment with a fast shutter speed or, as here, capturing several minutes in a single image to smooth out time and calm everything down.
I don't think there is a better camera than the K1 when it comes to long exposure and night photography.
