Beach

Attempting a long exposure of a rather pretty sunset on a beach near Costa Caparica, Lisbon. I was resting the camera on a railing and a gust of wind got the whole get up moving. I really like the effect - it looks oily and dreamy. This has been cropped down, the rest of it wasn't nearly as interesting.

I do like movement in photographs. When the results succeed, as this does, they are little delights that send shivers. This one has a silky quality with imaginings within.
