Ghana was an 'experience'. Safer than the Gambia and warmer friendlier people. A very dynamic country with almost no tourist infrastructure (unlike the Gambia's foreign owned tourist hotels with mayhem just beyond the compound walls).
Food was good. Bit of tickey tum right at the very end of the two week trip which counts as success.
That said, it's still a country filled with a lot of very poor people. Shames the rest of us though - what they do with the little they've got.
