The Bass Rock! I remember it well. Was this taken near the Scottish Seabird Centre?
Great place for watching Gannet's spectacularly diving into the ocean and those clowns of the avian world, the Puffin's.
I'll have to go back there with my 1000mm lens sometime to take some snaps...

I think I was at North Berwick at the time, not the best of weather for "snapping". Spent a lot of time at sea on Trawlers so watched Gannets diving just feet away, unfortunately no time for photography in those days
