Asahi Pentax Spotmatic

I have had several Spotmatic 1 cameras- I had a BLACK one and gave it to a girl friend in about 1976 and she went off with a divorced Policeman in 1978 and broke my heart-never gave a woman a Pentax since! (I have a Filipina wife No.3 now but bought her a bargain Nikon FE outfit from a widow lady! )

Well Peter, all I can do is sympathize with, you are clearly not over your problems, to purchase your good lady wife a Nikon, one can only offer commiserations

I did a bit better than you, Peter; I liked my freinds K20D,he liked my wife;SO WE SWAPPED!!

two weeks later he wanted to trade back but I was'nt having none of that,OH NO!. He offered to throw in his motor bike and two hundred quid!
I told him NO WAY!(Ido like his motor bike,but not THAT much)

I love my K20D
