Arch Nuisance

The Box Tree Moth (Cydalima Perspectalis). You wont see this one in the reference books yet. It's caterpillars cause very serious damage to Box hedges. Arrived from 'Asia' a few years ago and has spread alarmingly - mainly in the south east at the moment. RHS members can find out more...

A very attractive moth though - much creamier in colour than my flash photo shows.

K5 II & Pentax-F 100 macro. (Not Sigma). Better viewed large!

Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
