Many thanks johnriley - I appreciate your comments and will have a dabble with my trusty Picassa - tomorrow I will upload the other one I had considered with the solitary swan/goose in the foreground.

Must admit I like this shot, great sunset colours and I agree with John with regard to the solitary aspect of the plane on approach.
I would give the horizon a little tweak and judging by the exif you accidentally grabbed your Fuji PS rather than your *istD, good cameras mind you

Oooops,
thanks greytop - shows you what happens when you reach 63 and the Shiraz has started to take hold lol.
Missed that one - and yes the FinePix S5700 is a cracking piece of light weight kit - it was my wife`s and I remember now I had borrowed it to travel light on the trip.I,foolishly let her use the *istD on holiday in Jersey this year and she now is the proud owner, the Fuji is on Amazon and I HAD TO ( harrrumph !! ) buy myself a K20D to replace the *ist.Tough eh ?? Hee hee hee - I`m going to grow old disgracefully if it kills me - lol.
Spurred on by your kind comments I shal "dig" out some more dig-ital shots for your delectation.
Regards to you

Really nice shot and the only tweaks I would do to it has been mentioned above, straighten the horizon and crop a bit of the foreground.
Good work!

I particularly like the lonely, solitary feeling of that plane. It's been enhanced by leaving lots of space and, of course, the great colour.
