Since you mention it, and this is no way a comment on the photo above; I think the gallery should be for shots you're proud of, and want to display and put in your portfolio.

For genuine critique you should go to the 'Your Photos' area of the site. link

I've said before that I think the site developers should make a new area which works like this area but is purely a scrapbook for comments etc.
Then this Gallery can be a place of excellence.

Hmm yes I know what you mean. Comment and criticism is nonetheless still welcome on all my shots even the ones I am happy enough with to post in the gallery. Agreed that shots which 'need work' are certainly best put in the forum.

Im 'Not a Pentax Pro Master' however on a previous comment on this particular photograph I am certain that the photographer was 'proud enough' of this shot to want to show it!

And as this site is meant, then that is good enough!

Pentax Pro Masters should possibly offer more 'critique' assistance to us lesser mortals.

Will, Thanks for taking the comment the way it was meant.

BTW, I think the photo is a little cluttered. Maybe you could arrange your sister with a less distracting or more informative background and possible use the counter (or something) to lead the eye into the image and onto her.
