It's not a bad shot by any means, but gives me the impression that he's a bit remote and completely detached from the image being taken. This robs the image of any warmth it may otherwise have had.

Sorry if this sounds a bit harsh but it is what I think when I look at this image.

@David - not a harsh comment. Things move very quickly on press day at RHS/HC! It was tricky to get Rob at all, and I was busy photographing something else and had to change lenses quickly The out-of-shot context explains his expression - not remote, just thoughtful.
