After The Divorce

by Photon

These two had been busy on the cutlery that had been left to drain and air dry overnight. I couldn't resist photographing them. After a few hours the uppermost spider appeared to have had the life and body contents sucked out of it. It became a mere shell.-------------------Yes we had seen the two separate spiders earlier that morning and thought perhaps they were mating! This was taken with Pentax 100mm Macro lens and K20.

Unless you actually saw two spiders walking about together, then I would say the lower spider has shed its skin to allow it to grow bigger.

Unusual shot though, on cutlery, makes a change from garden pics.
