It's been interesting exploring this image.
Okay what can I see and understand?
A very long exposure as there are star trails. I can make out the shape of Orion with Betelguese showing its red tint and down a bit and to the left is the dog star Sirius the brightest star in the sky, we are in the Northern hemisphere looking southwards.
This is not a monochrome image but almost no colour is visible.
Back on the Earth, in the near distance I can make out smallish tree trunks so we are near the edge of a tree line or forest. The trunks seem to have vertical streaks towards the foreground. I think is faint reflection of the trees off of a icy snow cover which is visible in the glow in the foreground revealing the cover of snow.
It's cold, midwinter, there are no clouds visible or light pollution of the sky, I expect we in a remote area.
Thank you for taking me on an exploration of your starlight lit World.
