Acorns

by Noelcmn

Fallen Acorns, heralding the arrival of Autumn and Winter in the southern hemisphere. This taken with a Vivitar 70-300mm lens. I am quite impressed with the colour rendition of this lens, discovering it value again. It has been unused for a while now, as I have been pondering what to do with it. Now I think I will keep it, even if it means that I will have 3x 70-300mm lens.

Thank you David for thinking of photographers that live in southern hemisphere. Much appreciated. I should add, that due to the rather mild winter here in South Africa, (temperatures this week have consistently been above 25degree C. Overnight not below 8 degrees) we have a lot of plants/trees that blossom particularly in Winter months, some of which are very lovely and could easily be confused with summer time.
