Abstract Flow

This is a water run-off channel on the Chesterfield Canal near Turnerwood. The image is 2 exposures, the first at 1 second to blur the water flow, the second at 1/320 second to capture details. The sharp image was then overlaid on top of the one with blurred water flow and areas were selectively removed to leave the final image which is a mixture of the blurred flow and some sharp details. I hope you like it.

Both images were shot with the K-3 and a Pentax DA 50mm F1.8, mounted on a Redsnapper tripod. No filters used, this was done with ISO and Aperture to produce different shutter speeds.
