Great view. I'm off to Tenerife myself Saturday. Where was that taken Andrew?

Beautiful landscape image. I especially appreciate the forground elements and the layer of clouds beneath the mountain.

There are basically four ways up to the caldera which surrounds Teide, Paul. I wouldn't bother with the Puerto De La Cruz approach unless you're staying there but the other three are brilliant in very different ways and I love driving them all at least once. (Oh, OK twice, then!)

This is the best view of the mountain from the spine which runs from Santa Cruz or can be joined from Guimar. There are several pull ins and view points. This one's a bit hairy with a sheer drop but we like to have lunch there.

Hope you'll have a wonderful time. I'd spend all winter there if we didn't have child-care commitments.
Best wishes,

Andrew

Dramatic landscape Andrew. I'm impressed with the depth of focus at only f7.1. At first I thought it must be a tripod mounted shot, but the shutter speed shows this was not required.

That's the small sensor in the MX-1, David. In fact I'm careful not to set small apertures because of the adverse effect on sharpness.
Best wishes,

Andrew
