Abandoned

On Great Barrow, Eskdale lying a little above Paddock Wray this abandoned edifice has gorgeous views and total solitude. I don't know the history, but my best guess is that this was never a dwelling, but rather just a shelter for shepherds. It is however a really competent piece of dry-stone walling.
