I think this is so full of colour and the butterfly patterns the ripples have produced are amazing. However I agree with Flan the stems in the foreground do dominate the image a little too much. It's still an image to grab your attention though.

Excellent point. I was too fixated on getting the focus on the long stem and negating everything else that would compete. It's also good that people to take the time to make such comments as they are useful. "Lovely shot .... etc." is very nice (and polite) but you don't learn how to improve it.

I like that long stem. For me' perhaps a 1:1 crop.
