A cold lonely tree

This lonely tree is on an island in Loch Na L'Achlaise in Glencoe - at dawn in a temperature of about -10c. But it was worth it - that dawn light on the snowy mountains was amazing.

They weren't long johns - but skin tight ski pants, then jeans and then leggings. My breath was freezing on the tripod and on my filters!!

You have a great gallery. I think I like this shot best of all. Wonderful colours, and so full of atmosphere.
