70000 " Britannia" disturbs the rural idyll at Breaks Hall south of Appleby with 1Z61 the returning "Cumbrian Fells Express" for Bristol Temple Meads on Saturday 30th May 2015. Cross Fell (the highest peak in the Pennines), Little Dun Fell and Great Dun Fell are on the skyline. Taken with the permission of the farmer.

Even the cows co-operated to make a lovely shot for you.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone! Never work with children and animals, you never know what they might do! The cow on the right was running away from the train but adds interest.

Britannia is certainly making the cows run for cover. A lovely shot in the wonderful Eden Valley of Cumbria, a location I love for steam train photography.

This is my favourite location on the S&C, I have taken many photos around Breaks Hall in fair weather and foul over the years.

It's just a shame it's not a full rake of "Blood and Custards"!
