500

When I started to upload pictures to ppg I never thought that one day I will get Nr. 500 in - this (not necessarily very "dramatic" picture) was Nr. 500. Since the PPG-relaunch it is much easier to get pics in (100 out of 106 approved), but I am still happy to be able to reach this number

Sorry for my comment but I should prefer statue at xtreme right side. Good capture.

Why sorry - every individual opinion is valid. I can only expalin why I used this composition. The pose of the thinker is clear - he is intensively thinking and wants to be left alone. As people normaly tend to observe a picture from left to right, I wanted to have an open right side to easily "throw people out of the picture" so that he can continue thinking undisturbed. With him sitting right you easily pull the observer in and he then stays in as the exit is blocked by the thinker.
I know - not typically for me - normally I try to draw observers into my photos but in this intimate scene I didn't
