Just a small quantity of it. Opposite this view are 16 pretty big submarine shelters. There was no point in wasting energy and expense demolishing them after the war as St Nazaire had been pretty well razed by allied bombardment and there was enough rubble around. The pens are only now being adapted for exhibitions, concerts, etc. Regarding St-Nazaire (where the Germans held out in 'The St Nazaire Pocket' until after the war had officially ended in Berlin), one might look up 'The St Nazaire Raid'. There is a lot on YouTube about the raid. It is NOT a waste of time looking at it.
