12 miles from home

I live in the village below the windmills
Taken with the K3 the 60-250mm from about 12 miles away. The far hills are twice that distance.

Lacking in detail, but I liked the evening light and the way the landscape moves in distinct layers from near to far

Atmospherics capture the freeze dried landscape. The dark slash of the foreground tree line delineates nature when left to herself. The windmills scar the air. Pity. Beautiful but forlorn image, especially in large format. Tg
