'Sky fall'

by PeterKR

Last night's sunset seen from our house !
This was the last of a series I took which were remarkably different as the sky colours changed.

Out of camera jpeg with no PP apart from size reduction for posting.

Many thanks for the comments Nezih & Mac.

One of the reasons I love photography is witnessing, and the challenge of capturing, 'Mother Nature's' art in the clouds and changing light conditions. The combination of unusual clouds and spectacular sunset is something truly wonderful.

My feeble attempts at capturing those fleeting moments keep me wanting more but that challenge is just all part of the fun ! (And what helps keep me 'young' - "you are not old until you stop trying" !)

Best regards
Peter

Hi Peter, thats a great one! I love it that you have kept control of exposure and given us a real representation of the dark tones. The silhouette works well too.
