"Scots Guardsman" at Wilpshire

by sportyman531

46115 "Scots Guardsman" climbs to Wilpshire summit with "The Fellsman", Carlisle to Lancaster via Settle on Wednesday 15th July 2015. I went to this location expecting that there would be little exhaust in the warm conditions but little did I know that a greater spectacle had been arranged easrlier in the day.

Like in a western movie...train appears and what will happen from that moment on?

Well, there were more than a few "cowboys" waiting to ambush this train!

Lovely Black smoke. I also like the curved tracks
and what seem the sudden appearance of the train.

Great.
