You can't. They grow on you until you actually manage to do what you've just done. Then you have to prove to yourself it isn't a fluke!

Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Great picture and in admiration of your photographic skills. I have loads of these beasties in the garden and all I’ve managed so far is a blurry blob or fresh air as they disappear at the speed of light the moment I press the shutter!
