Great portrait!

In the background it looks like a Lada Riva estate (UK name), my Dad had one of those (red/orange) which I drove occasionally, I recall the brakes were not servo assisted and neither was anything else!

Curiously, ALL the Lada cars in the UK disappeared within a few months. It was said at the time that there was a huge demand for them in Russia and so everyone was only too happy to sell them. Another Russian car - the Moskvich - also disappeared from the UK at the same time.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Did they really want them in Russia with the wheel on the wrong side? Another happy person photo! Nice! He found the steering wheel on the correct side!
