It's clearly a big job (Covid aid? - a guess from the masks and mega freight haulage). The very dramatic point of view makes you stop and look at it.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Agree. And the light on the horizon contrasts nicely with the darker foreground. Very nice composition.

100 paratroopers were transferred. At that time, several forest fires were working - for quick localization and transfer.

An IL76...

I have only seen one once... it was at Manchester Airport. I went there especially to see it, and we got soaking wet because the weather was crap!!!

The pilot did an epic crab landing!!

I managed to fly another interesting aircraft - 106 were produced - IL86. During the Soviet period, I lived in the North, and flights were mainly made on IL86 and TU154

I love 76s! We used to see them regularly at Maastricht Airport some years ago but the noise complainers shouted louder than anyone else and they were banned. Now, if one ever lands here it is a PS-90 powered version. That hasn't happened for a long time! Super photo Igor!
