Very dramatic image...very 21st Century.
Was your camera operating ok near to that intense heat and smoke?
I hope the fires were put out without loss of life and without too much damage.

The camera has been doing quite well for the 4th year. Every year, several business trips to the taiga, to forest fires. For the entire period, I was only once on prophylaxis at the service center, and then - to replace the rubber bands with microphone-headphone inputs.Very dramatic image...very 21st Century.

Fires are still active on the territory of Russia, paratroopers-firefighters are at work. The season usually closes sometime in October.
