Ricoh has announced the 'Image Sync' application for android devices.
When paired with a K-S2 the app enables you to shoot, view, share and copy images remotely with your smartphone or tablet.
The app is available to download on Google Play. An iOS version of the application is planned fo release by the end of March 2015.
It's a pitty, they could have left the existing app as long as the new one is not available.
For me, WiFi (without Fluecard) to remote contrrol the camera and to get tethering was one strong criteria to decide for the S2 (together with the foldable display).
I'm very disappointed!
Seems OK as a basic remote control to take a photo BUT doesnt link to K-S2 and let you zoom in/out
Gotta K-3iii now, had a K-S2, K50 and so suffering from a relapse and so buying digital camera kit.
Previous addiction has resulted in using Zeniths, Yashicamat, Chinons, Minoltas, Samsungs, Fujis, Cosina, Kodak, Lumix, Canon, Nikon and Pentax etc etc - have tried most makes in the past 50 years. Love cameras - love taking photos even more
