Zucchini flower

The male flower of the zucchini or courgette about 12cm in length and very upright. 70mm Sigma macro lens.

An elegant, almost dance-like pose, nicely contasting background, beautifully subtle shades of yellow. A very nice portrait from the vegetable patch .

Perhaps drop the brightness of the horizontal bit at the top by a notch or two, although I think having a bright bit there is a positive for the picture because it supports the highlights below.
