Love the hallway shots (6,7 & and #9 - the cross. All excellent.
I used to visit a friend of mine during the war (I was living just a few hours drive away in Southern Austria) - every evening we could hear the heavy artillery going off just a few miles away.

Did the Serb attack Zagreb during the war as well? I thought they only attacked bosnia and part of croatian cities such as dubrovnik.

Zagreb was under attack - the Serbs were literally maybe just 10 miles from Zagreb and shelling the lines. Frightening stuff for my friend who had two small children ..... he left Zagreb, rightly even though the city was never taken, about a month after my last visit to see them.

Frogfish,
Thanks for your little history lesson.
Since you base in China just wonder if you are chinese?
I saw some very good photos from your website, you are a great photographer I have to say.
I guess you are not chinese by looking at the style of your photos!! ha ha. tell me if I am right.
Can you tell the different between chinese and european photographers in term of style?
Do you do photography for living?
Thanks for your little history lesson.

I'm not a pro and really I don't think I'd like to go that route, it's not for me. However I do occasionally work as second shooter for a pro - I think I can learn a lot from him that way.
Chinese togs vs Euro togs : hmm to be honest I've not seen a lot of Chinese photographers' work - but there are indeed some amazingly talened shooters here producing work I can only dream of. Can't really tell if there is a difference in style. Probably some influences.
I'm British born and bred however my lovely wife of 24 yrs is Chinese and we've lived in Shanghai for the past 15 yrs.
