Your best metallic affect/and sepia tone

In Photoshop Hue/Saturation. Click Colourise and adjust the sliders to suit. My personal choice is a hue value of around 25, but it depends on what sort of sepia tone you like.

There are several ways, these are just suggestions, so try them out and see what you get since there are many options.
One might be duo-toning, set colour mode to grey-scale and after that you can select duo-tone in the same menu.
Another might is making it black and white and make a new layer with the later setting on "color" and simply use the bucket tool to drop the right colour in the new layer.
And the other comes close to what John wrote but instead of sepia you can also select your own colour.
Instead of burning like they suggest in the tut, you can also duplicate the layer and set it to "softlight" that saturates the image and adds contrast and you can control it quite good.

I did have a demo copy from there site BUT FOUND IT CONTAINED A VIRUS so after that I don't trust buying soft ware from the net any more I would rather have I CD any time.

James sometimes the virus scanner is at fault, seeing viruses that aren't there because of the way they work.
If you downloaded it from the official site I wouldn't worry too much also because there are a lot of people using Nik's plug-ins so if there truly was a virus you would have heard more about it on forums.
I don't know if you can buy a complete program just for B&W I believe most are just plug-ins.

I'm not after the chrome affect like the one listed. I'm after the affect all the way to image six. I've seen this done with a sepia tone and it looks really affective (but no on a portrait) but a full length nude.
The question is really dose anyone have a better way of achieving this affect.
Sepia toning I've hit the tint box in photoshop and it's a cool fast way of getting a sepia affect but it's not perfect on a white back ground it dose not have a constant tone has any one got a better system/way to achieve a realistic sepia image
